After more than 30 years of being a dental hygienist (10 of which she’s spent right here at Smiles by the Sea), Teri still says that her favorite part of the job is forming relationships with her patients. Her main goal has remained the same throughout the decades: help people improve their oral health in the most comfortable and effective way possible. She is a graduate of Nashua High School and went on to attend New Hampshire Technical Institute. Today, she is certified to provide in-office teeth whitening. When not at work, she enjoys gardening, biking, hiking, camping, and learning how to do home and car repair.
Sue brings almost 4 decades of experience to our team, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have her! She just loves welcoming new patients and getting to know returning ones as she helps their teeth sparkle. A graduate of North Hampshire Technical Institute, she is certified to provide in-office teeth whitening using Zoom!. A Hampton native (her family was actually one of the founding families of the town), she likes to spend most of her free time with her husband Matt, their two children Megan and Nick, and their three dogs, Stoli, Franklin, and Rosco.
Ashley has over 5 years of experience working in dentistry, and she truly enjoys getting to help people and making a meaningful impact on their lives every day. As an assistant, you’ll find her doing pretty much everything around the office, working both at the front desk as well as right alongside Dr. Shevchenko. After graduating from the University of Maine-Augusta, she went on to become certified in both teeth whitening and nitrous oxide sedation. Originally from Lincoln, ME, she enjoys watching hockey and playing with her dogs, Bayley and Lilly.
Taylor is a recent addition to our team, but she has worked in dentistry for more than 16 years. Her job is to make sure our practice runs smoothly and help our patients in any way that she can. She calls Berwick, ME her hometown and went to Noble High School. At home, she likes to spend her free time painting any chance she can get. She also likes to hang out with her family, which consists of her husband Daryl, her stepson Carter, and a rather large collection of animals, including two dogs, two cats, four snakes, one rat, and a little crested gecko!
