How many times should I visit the dentist each year?
In most cases, we recommend scheduling a dedicated checkup and cleaning every six months, or twice each calendar year. If a patient has outlying circumstances, such as a predisposition to tooth decay or existing gum disease, our team may decide that more common visits (such as every three to four months) may better serve their smile’s continuing wellbeing.
